Martin Scorsese is one of my favorite directors because he directed two of my favorite movies of all time- Goodfellas and The Wolf of Wall Street. His other successful movies include The Departed and Gangs of New York. It must be his Italian blood that he can direct these type of movies so well.
The Dark Knight and Christopher Nolan are up there for me as well.
